Travelling Diverse Worlds: Lessons I Have Learned from Crafting Two Unique Narratives

The infinite possibilities, that storytelling can offer, have fascinated me as an author. Each new theme, each new narrative, has gifted me an opportunity to explore different shades of the human experience and to connect with the heart of readers in diverse ways. I’m delighted to be able to share some insights gained from my exploration of two different themes in my books, AN UNEXPECTED DETOUR and THE QUEST OF VERMILLION. I wish to share a glimpse into my creative process. Inviting you to embark on these captivating journeys with me!

  1. A World Of Thrilling Mysteries

The journey of writing my book, AN UNEXPECTED DETOUR, took me into a land of mystery and compelling intrigue. As I worked through the narrative based on the SHOW, DON’T TELL concept, I could plant some unimaginable twists and turns all along the course of the story. This has been a new kind of learning experience for me.

  • The art of creating suspense involves detailed attention on pacing and suspense.
  • Crafting a thriller demands strategically withholding information under the various layers of clues, unfolding one after the other.
  • What’s incredibly rewarding about unraveling a mystery and uncovering the truth?
  • The plot is meant to instill in readers a sense of curiosity and wonder, through AN UNEXPECTED DETOUR, I invite my readers to join in the thrill of discovery.

2. Challenge, Resilience, Tenacious Quest

In my book, THE QUEST OF VERMILLION, a modern woman with a fiery spirit, challenges the relevance of age-old social norms. And guess what! She is thrown into darkest tempests of her life. Challenging social beliefs and rituals was never easy right? The story takes you through the resilient approach taken by a young woman in her face-off with the vulnerabilities.

  • Vulnerabilities and darkest hours can actually reveal your true strength and tenacious spirit.
  • The protagonist’s unwavering hope for a brighter future lead her on the road to overcoming the barriers along her quest.
  • Yes, hope is the guiding light in the most disastrous situations that life presents us each day.

I have explored diverse themes as an author and I intend to do so throughout my writing journey. My journey as an author has been a highly enriching experience. This phase has allowed me to connect with readers in meaningful ways and to share stories that resonate with every reader, across boundaries. If you’re drawn to tales of resilience and inspiration with a deeply embedded meaning pertaining to our society, read THE QUEST OF VERMILLION.

And if the allure of mystery and intrigue intrigues you, read AN UNEXPECTED DETOUR. Let me know how you like the plot! I will wait for your reviews!
